David Paul Armour

1948 - 2004

David Paul Armour passed peacefully on November 12, 2004 at home with the comfort of his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dave was born on March 22, 1948 to ญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญRoy, predeceased, and Marion in Toronto, Canada. On December 13, 1986, he married the love of his life Carolle Dumais and together they completed their family. The love that Dave shared with his family was evident to those who knew him. His normal practical disposition melted at the mention of Carolle or his proudest accomplishments, Natacha, Deborah, Daniel, and Rachel. His approach to life’s situations was consistent with the type of husband, father and friend he was: confident, comforting and memorable.

Dave spent many years honing his craft, and was one of the most talented professionals in Texas. Most recently, he was the Information Technology Manager and mentor at Texas Electric Cooperatives.

David is survived by his wife, Carolle, and his children; Natacha, Deborah, Daniel, Rachel.

A service will be held to celebrate his life on Tuesday, November 16, 2004, 2:00 p.m., at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cedar Park, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials are preferred to either Hospice Austin, 4107 Spicewood Springs Road, Suite 100, Austin or to The American Cancer Society.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Elizabeth Burnell, Dr. Jack Walzel, Dr. John Costanzi and the Lone Star Oncology Clinic, the staff of Hospice Austin and to all of our friends who have offered support through this difficult time.
